Germany's RADFAHREN magazine loves the new SILEX 7000
Our all-carbon SILEX 7000, which has received fantastic feedback since its launch late last summer, continues its success story with another great test result.
German cycling website/magazine Radfahren.de have tested our 2nd from the top gravel machine and awarded it with the impressive “sehr gut” (translated: very good) button.
In their review, they highlighted the mountain bike-inspired geometry that gives the bike a balanced weight distribution and planted handling, especially on descents and rough off-road sections. They were also impressed with the bike's comfort, thanks in part to the choice of 45mm tyres and the compliance of the well-designed carbon frame. Finally, the long list of attachment points, giving the bike plenty of options for attaching bags, accessories and bottles, as well as the powerful Shimano GRX brakes, make the SILEX ready for even the biggest gravel and bikepacking adventures.
Their conclusion:
“An action/adventure gravel bike with an affinity for off-road terrain that handles demanding trail profiles really well. The carbon chassis is very compliant and comfortable to ride!”
