MERIDA FACTORY RACING - 2019 ABSA Cape Epic
2019 was the 3rd time for friends and teammates José Antonio Hermida and Joaquim 'Purito' Rodríguez to take part in the ABSA Cape Epic. After the rookie year for Purito in 2017 and an injury-affected race in 2018, the pressure on this year's event was high as the two riders wanted to prove what they are capable of. Also, for the first time in their 'team history' they decided to leave the proven marathon and XC race bike, the NINETY-SIX at home, and take the new ONE-TWENTY to South Africa. Check out how the MERIDA FACTORY RACING and their support staff got on, get a glimpse behind the scenes of their week at the Cape and see if the ONE-TWENTY is a Cape Epic winning bike.
MORE TEAMWORK. MORE BIKE.
