Gino Mäder passes away

With deep sadness, we have learned that Team Bahrain Victorious rider Gino Mäder passed away earlier today, succumbing to injuries sustained in yesterday’s crash at the Tour de Suisse.

A talented and inspiring young rider who was interested and involved in all elements of the sport, Gino was a joyful soul who will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and the team during these difficult moments, and we wish them strength to get through the challenging times ahead.

Pro cycling has lost a great character way too early - rest in peace, Gino.
