BikeRadar calls the new BIG.TRAIL a "stellar companion for all-mountain adventures" with 4.5/5 score

In another excellent test result for the freshly updated BIG.TRAIL hardtail, BikeRadar have awarded it an excellent 4.5 /5 stars, saying: "Merida has done a cracking job with the new Big.Trail".

Designed to offer high-value trail riding fun, the new BIG.TRAIL features updated geometry and sizing, but the sharp focus on building it with high-quality and reliable parts remains. BikeRadar praised this, saying: "Merida’s product managers have made some smart spec choices that balance the competing demands of performance and price well".

The tester also enjoyed the ride, saying that: "Its progressive shape ensures it’s no slouch on descents, while chunky rubber boosts grip and wards off punctures, and powerful brakes further your control" and that it: "make[s] carving smooth lines through supported corners a joy".

Summing up their time aboard the bike, the reviewer said that: "Up and down, severe or smooth, Merida’s updated Big.Trail 600 is an impressive performer".
