ONE-SIXTY 6000 receives "very good" in MOUNTAINBIKE magazine
In the current Enduro Special of Germany's MOUNTAINBIKE magazine (08/2023), our ONE-SIXTY was, of course, not to be missed. After the first, very positive impressions at the MOUNTAINBIKE Testival in Brixen last autumn, the bike continued to convince the test crew throughout the intensive test period.
The progressive geometry makes the ONE-SIXTY the "most skilled climber in the test". The "tightly tuned, bob-free rear triangle fits this perfectly". On the descent, the rear triangle "offers a lot of support and encourages a very active riding style". The handling benefits from the crisp character of the chassis. "Despite its length, the ONE-SIXTY feels very lively and [...] brings a smile to the face." Extremely grippy, puncture-proof tyres with downhill casing complement the harmonious setup. The testers also praised "the many details on and around the frame", such as the large down tube guard, the chain guide, the mini-tool under the saddle and the tool mount under the top tube.
Editorial conclusion:
"In terms of uphill and acceleration, the MERIDA ONE-SIXTY is the best bike in the test. The boldly designed geometry is also appealing."
