eSILEX+ 600 impresses in latest GRAVELFUN test

The editors of the German magazine GRAVELFUN (03/2024) took a closer look at our lightweight eSILEX+ 600 and tested it extensively. The electric version of the SILEX impressed them with its excellent value for money and well-thought-through equipment choice.  

"With the eSILEX+ 600, MERIDA has a real price-performance hit". Visually, our bike immediately made a "very positive impression" on the test editorial team. Thanks to its narrow down tube, the eSILEX "doesn't look like an e-bike at all" and is "almost indistinguishable from a human-powered bike". The Mahle X30 system with 250 Wh battery is also perfectly adequate for "the after-work ride". If you want a little more range in your back pocket, you can add the battery extender. The fitted Sram Apex drivetrain is "an excellent match for the bike". In addition, the motor was "so quiet that you hardly notice it even when there is no wind".

The rest of the kit also impressed with its high-quality components. There are even "mounting points for pretty much everything the bikepacking heart desires".
