eONE-SIXTY SL impresses in ElektroRad test

In the recently published e-full-suspension bike test in Germany's leading e-bike title ElektroRad-Magazin (01/2025), our light support e-mtb, the eONE-SIXTY SL 8000, impressed across the board and secured the final rating of "very good".

The eONE-SIXTY SL scored with "high-quality components and a well-thought-out concept". The testers were impressed by the "trail and downhill-compatible tyres", the "powerful 4-piston brakes", as well as the wireless shifting and the generous 160 mm suspension travel. Our light support e-mtb also impressed with a first-class combination of agile handling and composure. The team had extra praise for the new Purion 400 display from Bosch, which integrates perfectly into the cockpit, is well-protected and provides a wealth of information.

"Sporty (e-)mountain bikers will immediately feel at home on the MERIDA." Even without motor assistance, the SL picks up speed quickly, and the "crisp SRAM gears" help turn pedal strokes into speed. Thanks to the SX unit from Bosch, which "fits the SL like a glove", the bike turns into a genuine "sprinter", and with the optional range extender, it even becomes the perfect partner for long days in the saddle. The first-class suspension was also praised: "The suspension responds extremely sensitively and ensures safe, controlled and fast downhill fun".

The editors' verdict:
"Attention, not for couch potatoes: the high-quality MERIDA eONE-SIXTY SL 8000 wants to be challenged! For extreme downhill and sporty long-distance sessions".
