Relentless speed and low weight uphill, paired with trail-hardtail swagger on the descents. The BIG.NINE TR 5000 is ready to push beyond what cross-country hardtails should do. We've added a longer travel 120 mm travel RockShox fork, more aggressive high-volume tyres and our own lightweight dropper post to a CF3 carbon frame that features progressive geometry and our AGILOMETER sizing. Add in the precision and benchmark reliability of Shimano's XT 12-speed and you're good to go.

Mountain biking is one of the most varied cycling disciplines and probably the most demanding when it comes to equipment. While full suspension bikes offer amazing riding characteristics, the classic hardtail remains one of the purest tools for the job. Our 29er wheel equipped BIG.NINE range comes in carbon and aluminium and features multiple geometry options. The updated CF carbon and LITE aluminium framed BIG.NINE offer truly modern geometry with increased standover clearance and handling stability to better deal with the tough race tracks of today, with downcountry ready TR options that boost fork travel and add in aggressive tyres and dropper posts. The more relaxed geometry of the BIG.NINE TFS and SPEED offers a more comfortable, upright riding position. Our classic hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we could gain in over half a century of bike production and manufacturing. The BIG.NINE range represents the symbiosis between modern frame technology, attention to detail and craftsmanship 'Made in Taiwan' symbolises.

Når vi lager de enkelte karbonelementene, benytter vi en oppblåsbar blære for å sørge for at det ikke dannes skrukker på innsiden av røret, fordi disse legger til vekt og utgjør svake punkter. Resultatet er en lettere, stivere og sterkere ramme.

WIRE PORT

MERIDA designed headsets that enable all control cables from the handlebar to enter the frame through the headset cover, creating a clean and uncluttered look, allowing for a lighter, stronger and more aerodynamic frame structure than with conventional cable ports. Depending on the model, the cables are run completely internally (including the bar and stem) or semi-integrated, where the cables enter the frame underneath the stem.
