eSILEX 400 tried and tested by BIKE BILD

Our gravel bike eSILEX 400 was tested in Germany's BIKE BILD (03/2022) and totally convinced the editorial team.

The e-gravel bike combines "the versatility and nature experience of gravel biking with the comfort and range advantage of an e-bike", delivering on two of the "big bicycle trends of our time". In addition, it is also "very interesting" in terms of price. The light Mahle drive unit offers ample support on the climbs, but the eSILEX is also "very easy to ride" without assistance. The testers not only liked the "good braking performance" but also praised the "direct steering behaviour".

THEIR FINAL VERDICT (translated as all other quotes from the German original): 
"High-quality components, a solid drive unit and an attractive price make the MERIDA eSILEX 400 an e-gravel bike with a high fun factor for beginners. Thanks to many mounting points, it can be used not only as an after-work vehicle but also for everyday errands with a luggage rack and bags."
