HIGHLIGHTS
6061 series double butted aluminium frame with a more relaxed geometry. Comes equipped with internal cable routing as well as F, C and K-mounts.
A more compact top tube, paired with a higher front end, provide the MATTS with a more upright riding position, delivery extra riding comfort for the rider as well as a better view of what lies ahead.
Our MATTS offer either 650B or 26" wheels, depending on model and frame size. The top models of the MATTS line-up feature fast rolling 650B wheels, while the middle range offers the smaller models with easy to accelerate 26" wheels. The MATTS 10-V entry model comes with 26" wheels throughout all frame sizes.
All models feature powerful and easy to modulate hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes offer great stopping power in any weather, are more or less maintenance-free and are not affected by rough or kinked cables.
The MATTS frames have bosses and fixture points to attach a water bottle cage, rear fenders, a rear rack and a kickstand, making it super versatile if and when it gets used as a commuter or more urban-focused bike.
Aluminium welding is the strong point of our factories. 48 years of production knowledge and experience go into every frame we make. The MATTS is one of the most long-standing bike categories in our history and is proud to carry the name MERIDA.
We feature internal cable routing on all models. Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. Only a clever system for our internal guiding and fixing guarantees reliable and rattle free routing, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt and gives the bike a cleaner look.
