eOne-Eighty makes Pinkbike editor Seb Stott's 'Things I Loved'
Pinkbike Technical Editor Seb Stott placed the all-new eONE-EIGHTY into his '7 Things I Loved in 2024' roundup, giving our hard-hitting Bosch powered eMTB his seal of approval as one of the most interesting bike's he'd ridden all year.
The new eONE-EIGHTY is designed to be the ultimate bike park brawler, with a tough aluminium frame, 180 mm of travel at either end and a new Bosch CX drive unit with a huge 800 Wh battery to keep the laps flowing. While it's a heavyweight hitter, Seb said that it's "one of the heaviest eMTBs I've ever ridden, yet it doesn't seem to suffer from it."
Praising the bike's progressive but balanced and playful geometry, he noted: "It's remarkably agile, responsive and fun to ride, both uphill and downhill."
With our focus on creating bikes designed to be ridden hard, day in and day out, we always make sure they come with fit-for-purpose equipment as standard, so it's great to see that our approach has been validated by the biggest mountain bike website, with Seb noting: "It works because it gets the basics right: it has plenty of suspension travel, a powerful motor and powerful brakes, strong tyres and a proper dropper. Its geometry goes a long way to counteracting the bulk - with a compact chainstay and moderate head angle. If you have all that and you're not planning to enter an e-race, I'm no longer sure why a lighter eMTB is such a big deal."
