Category Highlights
The ONE-TWENTY RC has a very low standover height, giving the rider ample space to manoeuvre when the terrain demands it. It slightly steeper seat and head angle (in comparison to the ONE-TWENTY) provides even more efficiency and a more marathon specific trail behaviour. The short travel rear
end, make the bike an even more uncompromising climber than its bigger brother.
Full carbon frame incorporating ‘Nano Matrix’ technology for additional impact resistance. ‘Smart Entry’ cable clamping system for rattle free running. Tapered head tube for precise steering, Boost standard and rear through axle for rear end stiffness. The floating rear shock provides 100 mm of travel.
When hitting steam climbs in a marathon race, you want to be able to quickly lock out the front fork without taking your hands off the controls. So, all our ONE-TWENTY RC come with remote lockout, allowing you to lock out the fork from a leaver on your handlebars. The rear shock lockout is positioned on the shock to keep the cockpit clean and manageable.
The more marathon focused version offers 100 mm of rear wheel travel combined with a 120 mm suspension fork, resulting in a steeper seat and head angle, making the RC even more pedalling efficient and more agile on twisty courses.
Le point d'attache inférieur de l'amortisseur se déplace avec le système pour répondre de manière sensible. Grâce au système "Float Link", nos ingénieurs peuvent influencer le rapport de transmission comme la progression. Très sensible, ce système offre un excellent soutien et donne le sentiment d'un débattement supérieur à 120 mm, valeur qui est à l'origine du nom du modèle du vélo.
Lors de virées épiques, rien ne fonctionne sans un vélo préparé à tout. Grâce à une selle téléscopique, le réglage rapide de la hauteur de la selle "en cours de route" ne pose ainsi aucun problème. Les câbles acheminés en interne assurent un look soigné.
Non seulement dans la dernière saison du MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM en 2016, le NINETY-SIX a prouvé qu’il accélérait incroyablement vite et qu’il unissait les meilleures capacités en descente comme en montée. Les légendaires Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjå et José Antonio Hermida roulent constamment au plus haut niveau avec ce vélo.
